R Clone of Schistosome Ribozyme

The R Clone of Schistosome Ribozyme is a riboswitch that cleaves itself in the presence of theophylline. It has a four nucleotide (nt) base change from the Schistosome Ribozyme (J119447) in two locations. At nt 44-47, the original ribozyme sequence of GGGC was edited to CCCC. At nt 87-90, the original ribozyme sequence of GAGA was edited to GGGG. It is cloned into the pSB1A2-BR vector, allowing for gene expression using a T7 promoter. The sequence for this ribozyme is found in Computational Design and Biosensor Application of Small Molecule-Sensing Allosteric Ribozymes (https://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/bm400299a).
