PntnH

Regulatory region comprising promoter 5'-UTR, and RBS for the non-toxic nonhemmagluttinin component of the neurotoxin gene cluster in Clostridum botulinum.

Usage and Biology

Pntnh is derived from the nerotoxin gene cluster of C. botulinum. This promoter was used to drive expression of of the toxin regulator botR and our chosen reporter genes of interest in order to generate a volatile reporter strain to predict neurotoxin production following food processing.
