BIOFAB Modular Promoter apFAB82 Driven mRFP1 Generator ( ---> mRFP1 )

IIn 2013, a synthetic biology team created the BIOFAB parts collection. The goal of this collection was to create consistently reliable genetic elements when making genetic devices. The promoter in this sequence was taken from the BIOFAB collection. Theis test device includes the promoter apFAB46 and is connected to a sequence that codes for RFP. When the promoter is activated it stimulates the expression of RFP. During testing this promoter showed the highest activity level of the BIOFAB parts.
