Alternative electrically induced expression system using the dnaK promoter.

This is a composite part comprising the heat shock promoter BBa XXX from MIT 2006, which drives expression of a two-gene operon consisting of a rpoH sigma 32 transcription factor followed by superfolder GFP. This part was designed for Newcastle iGEM 2016's Culture Shock project in order to induce expression of a downstream gene upon exposure to an electric current. Sequence and Features
