pTet - amilCP

AmilCP chromoprotein under tetracylcine-repressive promoter.

Bacteria with this device are blue due to the amil CP constitutive expression. This espression turns off if TetR repressor is present and it can be restored by the addition of tetracycline or analogues.

Here is an example of E. coli DH5α carrying this device.:
