Overview

This is Ras-related RABF1, this is a signal peptide to be used for secretion of a protein construct of interest from a microalgal chassis. This was derived from the following paper: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-020-69620-9

Usage and Biology

This part is a signal peptude to be used in Chlorella vulgaris, using this signal peptide allows the protein construct of interest to be secereted outside the cell.
To use this, add this sequence at the N-terminal of your protein of interest. It will be shuttled to the ER and secreted out of the cell. During this process the signal peptide is cleaved and the protein if interest is relseased into the environment.
