Integrase Bxb1

Bxb1 integrase serves as a highly efficient DNA recombinase

Usage and Biology

The mycobacteriophage large serine recombinase Bxb1 catalyzes site-specific recombination between its corresponding attP and attB recognition sites.[1] We introduce this element to control the switching of genetic logic gates It also acts as a genetic signal amplifier.
