sgRNA for targeting ATP synthase in E.coli

What is it?

CRISPR/Cas9 is a gene editing technology used to inhibit the expression from the targeted sequence inducing DNA to activate its self-repair process. sgRNA will be attached to the CRISPR/Cas9 to target the desired area.

Usage and Biology

This system insures the knockdown of ATP synthase in E.coli. We have designed a sgRNA sequence (AAAGTCGCAATTGTATGCAC) targeting the ATP synthase in order to kill the engineered bacteria. This can protect the environment from contamination by engineered bacteria.
