sgRNA for targeting Bifunctional BirA enzyme

what is it?

CRISPR/Cas9 is a gene editing technology used to arbitrarily removes 2-7 genes from the targeted sequence inducing DNA to activate its self-repair process. The newly formed DNA will contain incorrect DNA sequences that could not be translated thereby inhibiting the function of the specific DNA chain.

What it does?

This system insures the maximum yield of biotin. We have designed a sgRNA sequence (AAGTCACCATACGYYAGTAC) targeting the Bifunctional BirA enzyme after the production of biotin to prevent biotin from further disintegration.
