Hygromycin B CDS; Selection for Transformation - Antibiotic resistance aphVII (hyg) B3-B4
This part is a part of the Chlamy-HUB-Collection. Berthold et al. (2002)[1] found that the aminoglycoside phosphotransferase gene (aphVII) from Streptomyces hygroscopicus works as a selectable marker for C. reinhardtii establishing a hygromycin resistance.
This part was designed to be used with the MoClo standard and has B3-B4 overhangs.
