T7-RBS-ZWF-Ter
This T7-RBS-ZWF-ter composite part is made of the glucose-6-phosphate 1-dehydrogenase enzyme which catalyzes the oxidation of glucose 6-phosphate to 6-phosphogluconolactone in the pentose phosphate pathway. Due to the knock-out of PGI, there is a metabolic flux shift toward the pentose phosphate shunt using this enzyme to allow the bacteria to survive. This part is useful to increase flavin production.
This construct is enriched with T7 promoter, RBS and terminator.
