This is a improved variant of BBa_K2671000. This part codes for mNeonGreen, which is a fluorescent protein with great intensity. mNeonGreen has a excitation maximum at 506 nm and a emission maximum at 517, providing a small Stoke's shift. It's color can be seen under normal white light as a yellow-green color.
