Results

Figure 1: Image showing the sequencing results of the T7 Toehold LacZ RNA Trigger Sequence. Annotated in a white arrow is the biobricked T7 promoter (BBa_I719005); this is followed by the biobricked trigger sequence, which is shown in maroon. Overall, the trigger sequence is 182 base pairs long, starting at 50 bp and ending at 231 bp.

The illustration justifies that the trigger sequence is present along with the T7 promoter. Blue cells were not produced because there is no reporter, such as the LacZ, to generate the color since there is no toehold switch to bind to.
