lasI

LasI is the quorum sensing molecule synthase from Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Originally the quorum sensing system is from the organism Alivibrio fischeri and is known to regulate cell expression in a population dependent manner. Together with the other two quorum sensing components pLas and LasR this construct is supposed to induce cell expression of a desired gene.
