Design Notes

This part is an improved version of BBa_I13502. To make the BioBrick compatible to assembly standard RFC[25], two silent mutations were made to remove two AgeI sites: The AgeI site (accggt) at 573 bp was changed to accagt. The AgeI site (accggt) at 685 bp was changed to acgggt.

Source

The RFP gene is originally derived from Discosoma striata (coral). The mRFP1 gene is originally derived from a monomeric derived version of RFP, GenBank: AF506027.1
