Design Notes

The phaC1J4 operon was codon optimized for use in E. coli using this codon optimization table. histidine tags were added to the N-termini of each protein in the operon for protein purification.

Source

The phaC1 was obtained from Pseudomonas aeruginosa, whereas phaJ4 was obtained from Pseudomonas putida.
