RNA pHmeter with natural scar site

The RNA pHmeter is used for pH-sensitive translational regulation and initiates translation at pH 8.5. It is based on the RNA encoding gene, SraF from E.coli that is a part of the 5' UTR of the alx locus and brings about alx expression only under alkaline conditions.
