Applications of BBa_K2302005

To confirm whether the pHisx6-PelB-CALB vector was expressed successfully, western blot was performed in this study. As showed in Fig. A, the expression level of CALB protein was markedly increased in bacteria with pHisx6-PelB-CALB vector and IPTG, as compared to control, indicating that the pHisx6-PelB-CALB vector was expressed successfully. Next, to further demonstrate whether the CALB can secrete to the medium, the supernatant was directly detected using western blot. The result found that CALB protein expression level was significantly induced by IPTG in pHisx6-PelB-CALB-transfected group.
