Design Notes

This biobrick part is the 14 different transcriptional binding sites from the Pcpc560 region found 560 bp upstream of the cpcB gene in Synechocystis pcc 6803. Studies have shown that it increases protein production following the transcriptional binding site, by up to 15% of the total protein content in Cyanobacteria.
