   Protein expression was checked by SDS-PAGE and Western Blot
   Localisation of a GFP tagged Has2 protein variant was checked by fluorescence microscopy
   No catalytic activity probably due to misfolding and intracellular accumulation

BioBrick is designed for production of high molecular mass hyaluronic acid (HMM-HA)in a Bacillus megaterium based expession system. HMM-HA is supposed to have inhibitory effects on cancer cell lines
