Component and Characterization
K1031013 consists of NahR[1], pSal promoter and transcription factor CƖ. CƖ functions as a repressor of hybrid promoter[2]. It is the repression branch of the Band-pass Filter circuit (Fig 1).

Previous work done by Dr. Lou Chunbo showed CƖ had obvious inhibiting effect to downstream promoter. (Fig 2).
