Improvement of part BBa K497005

Team Macquarie University (2011) made this part functional and also added a ribosome binding site to the part. The Heme Oxygenase gene was made functional, allowing the nautraly occurring heme in E.coli to be degraded to biliverdin, thus producing green colonies.

This part was non functional. Our team (Macquarie_University 2011) produced a better version of this BioBrick containing a RBS and HO gene. This new BioBrick can be found here, part BBa K646000
