Ovastacin expression cassette Bacillus subtilis
P43 (BBa_K143013) fused with P22 binding site L (BBa_K3889091) and RBS (BBa_K1351030) in order to create P22 c2 repressed Ovastacin expression. Also in order to secrete Ovastacin PhoD signal peptide (BBa_K3889050) was also fused.
Usage and Biology
This part along with BBa_K3889100 and BBa_K3889101 was used in order to produce Ovastacin (BBa_K3889022) when progesterone in absent in the fallopian tube. The working of the system is shown below:
