This is the forward primer paired with the reverse primer BBa_K4047003 to amplify the gene for fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase class 1 (found at Synpcc7942_2335 in GenBank for Synechococcus elongatus PCC 7942). The overlap sequence allows proper Gibson assembly with the pGEM-fbp backbone (BBa_K4047024) to create the full plasmid pGEM-fbp described in BBa_K4047037. The annealing portion (all caps) allows annealing to the wildtype S. elongatus PCC 7942 genome for proper amplification.
