P22 Bacteriophage Coat and Scaffolding Protein (tetR/tetA promotor)

This part is a generator for the P22 bacteriophage capsid containing the both capsomers coat protein and scaffold protein under the control of a TetR/tetA promoter. Expression can be induced by addition of anhydrotetracyclin (AHT). This part was used together with BBa_K3187044 for the dual expression of the P22 capsid with different ratios of LPETGG-tagged coat protein to untagged coat protein. The potential of fine tuning the expression levels of both parts was tested via BBa_K3187011.
