Two component system RpfCch + RpfG
The function of this composite part is that's a Two component system able to sense a diffused signalling factor (DSF)[1]. The sensor is called RpfC(ch) (BBa_K3286200).When DSF is present, the RpfCch will autophosphorylate and transfer the phosphate group to the enzyme RpfG. RpfG (BBa_K3286201) is a phosphodiesterase which is able to cleave c-di-GMP. This results in activation of this enzyme, which will decrease the amount of c-di-GMP in the cell.
