This part is an ATF1-1148 protein generator under control by the osmY stationary phase promoter.  It is almost identical to J45270, except that: 1) The promoter is the truncated version of osmY and 2) it uses the B0030 RBS instead of B0032 (which is in J45270).

Stationary-phase-dependent banana odor generator

The stationary phase dependent banana odor generator (BBa_J45250) catalyzes the conversion of the precursor isoamyl alcohol to the odor isoamyl acetate that has a banana smell. The biosynthetic device is composed of two transcriptional devices: a constitutive transcription source (BBa_J45992) and an odor enzyme generator (BBa_J45199). Odor enzyme generators take as input a transcriptional signal and produce as output an enzyme that catalyzes production of an odor from a chemical precursor.
