Strong RBS (B0034) - LacZ-alpha fragment (I732006)
LacZ-alpha fragment (BBa_I732006) with a Strong RBS upstream (BBa_B0034). In strains with LacZ-omega (LacZ N-terminal deletion mutants) like DH5alpha, DH10B and Top10, LacZ-alpha restores the beta-galactosidase activity. In presence of Xgal, cells become blue.
We have also designed the same construct with a Weak RBS (BBa_K329006).
