Usage and Biology
Presence of Tryptophan inhibits the expression of genes downstream of the regulator.
As the hybrid protein LovTAP ( BBa_K191006 ) contains the corresponding regulatory domain, LovTAP can also bind to the regulator and and interferes with downstream gene's expression.
