fMT

fMT is a metallothionein, binding Arsenite(III) and Arsenate(V), it has higher affinity for As(III).

  • 1000
    COMPATIBLE WITH RFC[1000]

Design Notes

Add BioBrick prefix and suffix, also a RBS (BBa_B0034) will be added.
In working with heavy metal accumulation considerations should be made in the labwork required and also in the obtaining higher concentrations of the heavy metals in bacteria.

Source

fMT was cloned from pMAL-MT (kindly provided by Wilfred Chen, University of California), the origin of the gene is the genome of Fucus vesiculosus.
