lldR
lldR coding sequence from Salmonella typhimurium ATCC14028. LldR regulates the transcription of the LldPRD operon which is involved in lactate metabolism. LldR is represses the expression of the the lldRPD operon genes by binding two operator regions and forming a loop.1,2. The lldR gene will be constituvely expressed in our designed backbone pKFO1 (BBa_K3861005), and will allow for tight regulation of genes under the lldR promoter (BBa_K1847008).
