This device was used for the construction of <bbpart>BBa_K1073035</bbpart>. With this construct in a high copy plasmid (pSB1C3) we were able to induce expression of beta lactamase in ''E. coli Top10F''' when N-butyryl-HSL was added to the media and thus maintain cell growth in complex medium containing ampicillin. Applications of BBa_K1073028

This device was used for the construction of BBa_K1073035. With this construct in a high copy plasmid (pSB1C3) we were able to induce expression of beta lactamase in E. coli Top10F' when N-butyryl-HSL was added to the media and thus maintain cell growth in complex medium containing ampicillin.
