The chromoprotein eforRed has a distinct red color. In order to avoid absoption of the chomoproteins during measurement with the photometer, the absorption and emission spectra were measured.

Absorption maximum for eforRed: 534 nm

Emission maximum for eforRed: 605,4 nm


Accordingly the photometer measurements for growth curves were carried out by 520 nm with respect to the chromoproteins amilGFP (BBa_K1073024) and aeBlue (BBa_K1073020).
