This part is a 50bp homologous sequence that occurs at 5' UTR region of the phnC cistron from E. coli K-12. It can be used together with phnC Promoter homology part (BBa_K3215017) to form a construct containing a flanking region that changes the phn Operon promoter region, through recombination techniques, removing the original one (e.g. BBa_K3215007).
