pET28b+ cloning vector from BioBasic
pET28b+ is a cloning vector commonly used in E. coli. It is a high copy-number plasmid, containing a kanamycin resistance cassette. This backbone was used by the 2014 University of Calgary team for a series of repressible promoters, as our experience with these parts suggested that they were unstable in the standard pSB1C3 cloning vector.
This plasmid came from the gene synthesis services offered by [http://store.biobasic.com/gene-synthesis/ BioBasic].
