Promoters/Catalog/B. subtilis/SigmaA/Positive

This page lists promoters that are -
i) Recognized by B. subtilis σ^A RNAP. σ^A is the major sigma factor in B. subtilis (equivalent to σ⁷⁰ in E. coli) so there should be RNAP present to transcribe these promoters under most growth conditions (although maximally during exponential growth).
ii) Positively regulated meaning that increased levels of some transcription factor (other than the sigma factor) will increase the activity of these promoters.
