Design Notes

We modified this sequence to include a 6xHis Tag in the middle of the sequence, at residue 28 of the beta chain, immediately prior to an enzymatic cleavage site. His tagging allowed for subsequent measurement of preproinsulin/processed insulin using Western, ELISA, etc.
