Applications of BBa_M36200
Plasmids with this ADH sequence were transformed into E. coli. The transformed E. coli grown in the presence of ethanol had increased growth rates with the ADH sequence compared to E. coli that did not receive the ADH gene. Relative growth was determined and recorded after 24 hours. A significant difference in growth rates was noticed during the E. coli's growth in 4% ethanol.
