Applications of BBa_K861002

• iGEM2012 WHU-China In this experiment , we inoculated the same amount of bacteria expressing different genes involved in beta oxidation pathway in the oleate medium. The sample was collected at 6h , 12h , 18h and 24h .Then the cupric-acetate reaction was performed to detect the remaining amount of faty acids in the medium , which reflected the effects of expressing different genes on degrading fatty acids. Comparing the experimental results above,we can know that IL can degrade the fatty acids faster than the control ,which suggests that it has the desired function.
