Design Notes

The promoter is not only flanked by the iGEM prefix and suffix, but also by distal BsaI restriction sites.

A silent point mutation was inserted into the BsmBI restriction site in the chloramphenicol resistance gene.

The CMV-promotor originates from the pPhi-Yellow-C vector from Evrogen.
