We first extracted the individual genes as 4 inserts (down to a size that is more manageable), then we use Gibson Assembly method to put the inserts and the plasmid backbone together. The formation of cell chains can possibly be an indication of correct expression because the genes were reported to be important for chain alignments. However, this has to be further studied.
