Design Notes

In our receptor module, NCOA functions as a coactivator for nuclear receptors like AhR, enhancing their ability to regulate the expression of detoxification genes when activated by ligands such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) or polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). This facilitates transcriptional efficiency of AhR upon ligand binding initiating the transcription of NanoLuc in our reporter module.
