Design Notes
We decided to use a Bimolecular Fluorescence Complementation (BiFC) system because our receptor is based on split-ubiquitin, so we thought it was the best option to verify that the scFvs used in our project can dimerize in the cytoplasmatic membrane. We also used the same signal peptide to keep the conditions as similar as possible.
