NusA

NusA, a protein disulfide isomerase, is a transcription termination/antitermination protein. It is a highly soluble protein with a molecular weight of 55 kDa. NusA has the ability to bind and sequester the intermediate folding states of its target proteins, preventing their self-aggregation and aggregation. This allows for stable expression of recombinant proteins.
