A tran-saconite transporter derived from Bacillus thuringiensis
A tran-saconite transporter derived from Bacillus thuringiensis, which could transport TAA from the inside to outside cell body.
Usage and Biology
TbrB is a transaconite transporter derived from Bacillus thuringiensis, which has the ability to transport TAA from the interior of the cell to the exterior. In Bacillus thuringiensis, it is located within the same gene cluster as TbrA. In our project, TAA serves as a nematode-killing small organic molecule. Therefore, TbrB is crucial for enhancing the nematode-killing efficacy of the engineered bacteria.
