Design Notes
We focused on the facilitation of CYPY96F degradation of plastics by Vgb. Based on the unique structure of VHb, it can efficiently bind and transport oxygen to the respiratory chain by interacting with terminal oxidase, especially under oxygen-limited conditions. By enhancing the regeneration of ATP and NAD and improving the activity of the TCA cycle, VHb can be used to promote the growth of microbial and improve the the efficiency of PE degradation by CYPY96F under oxygen-limited conditions.
