Signal peptide, partially from [Cloning vector pDL32] MIKLKFGVFFTVLLSSAYAHG (GenBank: XCD10434.1). This signal peptide is derived from the CtxB protein of Vibrio cholerae and is detected by the SEC pathway of the type II secretion system. It is used to secrete enzymes into the membrane of E. coli (Gallus et al., 2022).
