gomerB T6B2 variant
Enzyme goMerB T6-B2 (alkyl mercury lyase) is a mutant of the MerB enzyme from Gordonia otitis (goMerB) with increased efficiency of catalytic biological digestion of organic mercury.
The enzyme is 22 kDa in size and with a catalytic site at cys95, Asp98 and cys160.
The gene sequence was obtained from Guo et al. (2024).
Characterized and developed by Guo et al. (2024).
