This composite part consists of three genetic components:

BRCA-1 Promoter: A regulatory DNA sequence that controls the expression of downstream genes, typically active in cells where the BRCA-1 gene is expressed. BRCA-1 is involved in DNA repair and tumor suppression.

GFP Gene: A gene that encodes the Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP), a widely used reporter protein that emits green fluorescence, allowing researchers to visually track gene expression and cellular events.

SV40 Terminator: A sequence from Simian Virus 40 (SV40) that ensures proper termination of transcription and polyadenylation of the mRNA transcript.
