Drive the expression of the BAX gene under the control of the CD47 promoter, with transcription prop
This composite part consists of three key genetic elements:
CD47 Promoter: A regulatory DNA sequence that drives the expression of downstream genes, specifically by promoting transcription. CD47 is involved in immune evasion by preventing phagocytosis.
BAX Gene: A pro-apoptotic gene that encodes the BAX protein, which promotes cell death by facilitating the release of cytochrome c from mitochondria, leading to apoptosis.
SV40 Terminator: A DNA sequence derived from the Simian Virus 40 (SV40) that signals the end of transcription, ensuring proper termination and polyadenylation of mRNA transcripts.
